Blender weird shading on mesh
WebI tried adding a window to my scene yesterday and it didn't work, so I tried a different method today. I added a cube where I want the window to be, applied all transforms on the walls and the cube, and then added the boolean modifier to the wall. I selected the cube as the object. WebJul 12, 2024 · Today I added a cylinder mesh and clicked on Shade Smooth and noticed that it looked really weird. I did a little research and noticed that the box for "auto smooth" in the Object Data Properties area was unchecked. I don't recall unchecking this box, but I must have because I've never seen a mesh look so strange when selecting Shade Smooth. WebAug 17, 2024 · The first image below shows my mesh in Blender with the Blender lighting, and the second image from inside UE4 has this weird shading on it. Is there any way to help it look like the first image? I've tried two-sided lighting, increasing the lightmap resolution, nothing seems to fix it. If anybody knows a fix, please let me know. Thanks!
