It seems to fit OK, but it won't "click" into place. In fact the takedown lever sticks out. I called Browning Service and they feel that it could be remedied by "one swipe with a file" on the lug where the forearm mechanism attaches.

This is the area that the forend iron bears against and determines how tight vs loose the forearm fits which in turn is USUALLY the problem with a gun that is difficult to open and/or close. WebApr 1, 2024 · A loosening choke is not unusual especially in the bottom barrel which fires the majority of shots as I load single shell unless shooting a sim pair. But this is the first time I have found it to be a chronic problem. Took the gun back to the dealer but so far getting stonewalled by the Browning distributor. Has anyone else experienced this?
