You can modify at startup using .Renviron file or modify in code using Sys.setenv or the helper function in devtools: devtools::add_path () (see documentation) I think it could work for what you want to do. WebClick on the Environment tab in the top right pane of RStudio Select Import Dataset > From Text File... Select the CSV file to read into R and click Open Enter a name (no spaces allowed) or stick with the default and click Import We’re only pointing out this method because new users are often tempted to use it—we do not recommend it.
